IM Dai Changren and GM Tan Zhongyi win Chinese Chess Championships 2022

The 2022 Chinese Chess Championships took place from 2-11 November in Xinghua, Jiangsu province. Both Open and Women’s tournaments were 12-player round robins with classical time control. 

IM Dai Changren was the sole winner of the Open tournament with 7/11 points, with GM Zhao Jun clinching silver with 6.5 points. GM Xu Xiangyu and GM Li Di tied for bronze scoring 6 points, each.

GM Tan Zhongyi convincingly won the Women’s event with 9/11 points, WGM Xiao Yiyi came second with 7.5 points, and IM Guo Qi and WGM Zhai Mo tied for the third place with 7 points, each. Scroll down for final rankings of both sections
