IM Sean and GM Nguyen extend lead in 10th JAPFA Tournament

JAPFAThe 10th JAPFA International Chess Festival is in progress at the Hotel Kartika Chandra in Jakarta, Indonesia.

The round-robin GM tournament with hefty prize fund in the amount of 8,800 USD is led by Indonesian IM Winshand Cuhendi Sean and Vietnamese GM Anh Dung Nguyen who have 7/10 points.

Top seed GM Sergey Tiviakov of the Netherlands is currently third with 6/10.

On April, 21, JAPFA GM Tournament had visitors from JAPFA4Kids. Having great achievement in chess, they are the pioneer of chess athletes in Indonesia. Their visit was to add knowledge about chess, and experience the atmosphere of an international tournament.
JAPFA4Kids is the Corporate Social Responsibility of PT Japfa Comfeed Indonesia Tbk. (JAPFA), organizer of this tournament.
