Luxurious Gran Garbí Hotel**** welcomes the participants
The International Chess Tournament “Ciutat de Lloret” is scheduled to be organized by IO Pere Reginaldo and GM Jordi Magem from 28th December 2014 to 3rd January 2015 in the Gran Garbí Hotel****, Lloret de Mar, Girona, Spain.
The event is a 9-round Swiss tournament with tempo of play 90′ + 30″.
The main prize fund will be awarded as follows:
Main prizes: 900 € + trophy/ 500 € + trophy/ 350 € + trophy/ 250 €/ 170 €/ 140 €/ 130 €/ 120 €/ 110 €/ 100 €
Category prizes: 2150-2300: 100 €/ 50 €, 2001-2150: 100 €/ 50 €, 1851-2000: 100 €/ 50 €, 1700-1850: 100 €/ 50 €, below 1699: 100 €/ 50 €
Special prizes: Best senior – trophy, Best player U16 – trophy, Best local player – trophy
A parallel Under 14 open tournament will be organized for players born 2000 or later.
The best 3 players under 14 and the best two under 12, 10 and 8 will be granted Open Chess Cruise 2015 + trophy.
