The Albanian Chess Federation is organizing the International Chess Tournament Durres 2013 that will be played from 4 to 11 May 2013.
It will be a 9-round Swiss System open in the Conference hall of Bleart Hotel in Durres, Albania.
The prize fund is € 8,650 and it will be divided into 15 regular and 10 special prizes: 1st place – € 1,50o; 2nd place – € 1,20o; 3rd place – € 80o, etc.
The prizes are divided according to the Hort system of progressive distribution and may not be accumulated.
The rate of play will be 90 minutes for 40 moves + 30 minutes for the rest of the game with the increment of 30 seconds per move starting from move one.
