Ivan Saric wins 4th ad Gredine Open

DSC_0265The 4th ad Gredine Open was a 9-round Swiss tournament which took place from 16-24 June 2018 in Ortisei, Italy.
In the A group 81 players took part.
The European champion GM Ivan Saric won the tournament in very close contest with the young prodigy Praggnanandhaa. They both finished with 7,5 points out of 9.
Third place was for GM Konstantin Tarlev with 7 points.

Praggnanandhaa has earned his 3rd and final GM norm after only 8 rounds at Grendine Open Chess! He is now the 2nd youngest chess Grandmaster in history! Congratulations to him, his family, his coach GM Ramesh RB, and India!
