Jose de Carvalho wins Torneo Carioca Absoluto 2013

The Torneo Carioca Absoluto 2013 took place on April 13-14 at the Club Municipal of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil.

Jose de Carvalho took the winner’s trophy and was proclaimed as the Carioca Champion of 2013. He edged three other players on tiebreaks after obtaining 5/6 points in the weekend competition.

Rating favorite FM Ricardo Da Silva Texeira finished second with the same amount of points.
