Homeland Sports Club, Nepal cordially invites players from all chess federations, Chess Club/Academy under FIDE to participate in the 1st edition of Kathmandu Open International GM Chess Tournament 2018. It will be held at Godavari Village Resort, Kathmandu from 12th to 17th April 2018.
System of Play:
The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 9 rounds. Accelerated pairing should be done for the first two rounds.
Time Control: 90 minutes plus 30 second increment from move 1 for entire game.
Godavari Village Resort is the official venue of Kathmandu Open International GM Chess Tournament 2018. This resort is located on the south-east part of Kathmandu valley, which is only about 13 kilometers from Tribhuwan International Airport.
