Magnus Carlsen wins Tata Steel 2013

Magnus Carlsen is the winner of the 2013 edition of the traditional Tata Steel tournament. The title in Wijk aan Zee was decided a round before the end, when Magnus Carlsen won his round 11 game and collected 9,5/12, which is 1,5 points more than his closests competitor.

However, this is not all from Magnus Carlsen, today he will play to make history in Wijk Aan Zee. Kasparov is holding the record of most points in a event in the A group, a draw for Carlsen today will make him a shared holder of the landmark, while a victory will put him as the sole record holder at 10,5/13.
