The Ministry of Sport of Chile enthusiastically welcomed Cristóbal Henríquez back from Azerbaijan where he participated in the 2015 FIDE World Cup.

The official Facebook page of the Ministry announced that the new chess star held a simultaneous exhibition at the Fundación Cultural de Providencia.

Cristóbal Henríquez caused possibly the greatest upset in the history of the FIDE World Cup when he eliminated the former World Championship challenger Boris Gelfand in the first round.
