The prestigious MrDodgy Invitational 3.0 is a 32-player tournament taking place on chess24 from 25 November to 1 December 2022. The event is played in two group stages A and B., followed by the Knockout stage with 16 players. Each group was a 16-player round-robin with a time control of 5+0 and the best-ranked 8 players of each group qualified for the knockout stage.
Magnus Carlsen, Daniil Dubov, Rauf Mamedov, Luis Paulo Supi, Alexander Grischuk, Vincent Keymer, Jorden van Foreest and Alan Pichot qualified from the Group A, and Mahammad Muradli, Jorge Cori, Samuel Sevian, Andrew Tang, Kirill Shevchenko, Maxime Lagarde, Pavel Eljanov and Saleh Salem advanced to the Knockout phase from the Group B.
