MTS Logistics GM Tournament 2016 LIVE!

The fifth edition of the MTS Logistics GM Tournament is taking place in Izmir, Turkey between June 28-July 2 at Izmir Vesta Fuar Hotel. There are two groups and both groups play with double round Scheveningen system. The tournament provides an opportunity for the young and ambitious Turkish players to get GM and IM norms. MTS Logistics, the sponsor of the tournament is an international logistics company acting as a broker and acting as agencies to all Turkish ports, founded in 1990 in Izmir, headquarters located in Istanbul today.

Live games will be daily on Chessdom.com and ChessArena.com with computer analysis by the TCEC participants Komodo, Stockfish, and Houdini.

The rating average of this group is 2428 and it is a category 8 tournament where scoring 7.5 points and above is required for a GM norm while scoring 5.5 points is the minimum for an IM norm.
