FIDE announced the Women’s Grand-Prix 2013-2014 which will give qualification to the Women’s World Championship match 2015 a few weeks ago. The first leg will be in Geneva sponsored by Neva Foundation. From May 3 to 15, twelve of the best women players – featuring current women world champion Anna Ushenina from Ukraine – will confront each other at the Hotel N’vY.
Chessdom will provide daily live games with analysis and full round reports.
Update: The Women World Championship 2013 was also announced. It will be a match between the reigning World Champion Anna Ushenina (Ukraine) and her challenger Hou Yifan (China) will be organized by the FIDE and Chinese Chess Association on 10-27 September 2013, in the city of Taizhou, China.
