London Classic FIDE chess open

GM Jon Ludvig Hammer top seeded

London Chess Classics

Parallel to the London Classic there will be a FIDE rated open, offering IM and GM norm opportunities. It starts on the 8th of December and is a 9 round Swiss event. Top seeded is GM Jon Ludvig Hammer, and his main competition is from the local GMs Stuart Conquest, Simon Williams, Mark Hebden, Peter Wells, Keith Arkell, and Aaron Summerscale, as well as the Russian GM Cherniaev.

Among the top GM norm seekers are IM Jovanka Houska and our good friend from bergensjakk.no IM Eirik Gullaksen.
