Ruslan Ponomariov’s simul in Mukachevo

Played on the rest day of Naiditsch-Efimenko match

On Sunday, 15 August, Ruslan Ponomariov gave a simul in Mukachevo. He played against kids – guests of the Transkarpathian Cup. The 2002-2004 FIDE World Champion won all games.

Sunday was a rest day for Arkadij Naiditsch and Zahar Efimenko, who are playing a a six-games match, also in Mukachevo, Ukraine. After the first three games Naiditsch is leading by 2-1. Game four is currently in progress, you can follow it live on the official website.
