FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar in Milan, Italy

20-23rd January at the Società Scacchistica Milanese

From 20 to 23 January 2011 a FIDE Arbiters’ Seminar was organized in Milan, Italy, by the Italian Chess Federation and under auspices of FIDE. The venue of the Seminar was Società Scacchistica Milanese, the oldest Italian chess club, founded in 1881. The lecturer was IA Franca Dapiran (ITA), FIDE Lecturer, and Assistant lecturer was IA Maurizio Mascheroni (ITA).

19 National Arbiters from Italy, from Trieste to Sicily, and Iran participated in the seminar. 17 of them participated in the examination test, held after the end of the lectures.

The following eight (8) succeeded in the test and will be awarded a norm for the FIDE Arbiter title, after the approval of the next FIDE Presidential Board:
