Mtel Masters. 11 rounds will be played with time control 90 minutes
for the first 40 moves and 30 minutes to the end of the game to each

Sergey Karjakin and Vassily Ivanchuk
Last year winner Vassily Ivanchuk is back to defend the title after his remarkable accomplishment at the recent Mtel Masters. Chess fans are intrigued if he can continue this run with same pace. Sergey Karjakin, who then concluded second, arrives in good mood after claiming Ukrainian Club Cup with his team PVK Kievchess.
The field of twelve players is resembling last year’s lineup, with only three players, Lenier Dominguez Perez, Sergei Rublevsky and Krishnan Sasikiran, being replaced by Evgeny Alexeev (2711), Andrei Volokitin (2684) and now first-seeded Magnus Carlsen (2765).
