GM Oleg Romanishin to be chief of the organizing committee
Technical preparation for the match Kamsky – Topalov should start in a few days, first with the meeting of representatives of both players and FIDE Deputy President Georgios Makropoulos, that will take place in Lviv.
Earlier rumors that Potocky Palace, western residence of the President of Ukraine Viktor Yushchenko, will be the playing venue, seem to be getting some ground. Russian newspaper “Sport-Express” reported that Oleg Romanishin, Lviv Grandmaster and former World Championship candidate, will be the chief of the organizing committee.
