The 46th Annual World Open was held from July 3-8, 2018 at the Philadelphia Marriott Downtown, 1201 Market St., Philadelphia, Pennsylvania.

In group A 200 players took part.
GM Illia Nyzhnyk is the winner with 7.5/9 and this is his 4th title, he beat top player Le Liem Quang in round 8. GM Lazaro Bruzon, GM Alex Shimanov, GM Aleksandr Lenderman and GM Tigran Petrosian tie for 2nd with 7 points.
