Protector leads ahead of Komodo and Junior

tcec chessThe world’s strongest computer championship TCEC continues with Stage 1c. After 6 rounds it has a surprising leader. The 2900 club engine Protector 1.6 (2928) is leading the pack with 5,5/6. It has five victories and a draw vs last season’s champion Komodo.

Komodo and Junior share second place, each with 5,0/6. Junior made draws with Jonny and Rybka, while Komodo was held by Protector and Scorpio.

Rybka is currently 4th with 4,0/6, half a point ahead of Scorpio and a full point ahead of the 3000+ ELO engine Chiron. See the full standings at the official website
