Radjabov not happy while checking his phone after the Candidates R6 game

The Azerbaijani grandmaster Teimour Radjabov played against Richard Rapport in the 6th round of the FIDE Candidates Chess Tournament 2022. He had a dominant position but blundered the win away just one move before the time control. @ChessMike captured a moment when Radjabov checked his phone for the truth after the game and he truly seems unhappy with what he sees (see the video below). In the post-game interview with WGM Dina Belenkaya, Radjabov said he feels okay despite the missed chance: “I mean it’s fine because I didn’t even think about it. So in general, I just didn’t see it. And it was a sudden chance because I saw that the draw is both ways with Rg5 or Re4, and I didn’t see any difference“. He added that if there was more time on the clock he would surely stop and calculate but he was sure that the position was a forced draw. See the complete interview with Dina Belenkaya below.
