The Russian Team Chess Championship 2014 is going to take place 7-14 April. A total of 13 teams will play a 7 round Swiss event to determine the winner of one of the strongest team chess championships in the world.
Top players include GM Alexander Grischuk, GM Sergey Karjakin, GM Leinier Dominguez Perez, GM Peter Svidler, GM Nikita Vitiugov, GM Ian Nepomniachtchi, GM Peter Leko, GM Dmitry Jakovenko, GM Alexander Morozevich, GM Gata Kamsky, GM Baadur Jobava, GM Sergei Rublevsky, GM Alexey Shirov, GM Vladimir Malakhov, all of them above 2700 ELO. From the 102 participants, 70+ are GMs and 45 are above 2600 ELO.
The first round begins on the 7th of April and games start daily at 15:00 local time (13:00 CET)
