Serbian Chess Championship 2013

The Serbian Chess Championship 2013 will be held on 15-27th April at the Hotel Zvezda in Vrnjacka Banja. Thirteen players will compete in the round robin tournament.

Top seeded player is GM Nikola Sedlak, who was the champion in 2010. Last year champion Ivan Ivanisevic will not defend the title because he is preparing for the European Championship which is starting on 4th May.

The prize fund is 3500 EUR and the players are receiving appearance fees ranging from 140 to 450 EUR, depending on elo.
