Susan Polgar to play chess in New York City on live national TV

Webster University chess coach and founder of the Susan Polgar Institute for Chess Excellence (SPICE) is scheduled to be on “FOX & Friends” (the #1 national cable morning show in the U.S.) Monday morning on the Fox News cable channel.

Exact details for live TV are always subject to change, but the plan is for Polgar to play on a large chess board outside the FOX News studios (weather permitting) in New York City with the hosts of the show. Look for her beginning in the 8:25 a.m. (NY time) / 7: 25 am (St. Louis time) hour.

It will be a 4-5 minute LIVE segment. If you’re watching and want to join the buzz, Webster’s Twitter handle is @websteru. Find Polgar on Twitter @SusanPolgar.

Some of the possible topics for discussions include: introduction to chess, chess in the United States, College Chess Final Four, the benefits of chess, Webster University, etc.
