Titles approved by FIDE at the PB in Al Ain

FIDE has published the list of titles approved by the 1st quarter Presidential Board held in Al Ain, UAE from 3 to 6 of February 2012.

The PB also confirmed that the 2012 Chess Olympiad and FIDE Congress will be held in Istanbul, Turkey from 27th August to 10th September.

The bids for the Candidates Matches were discussed, with a final decision to be made before 29th February, 2012.

A Committee was set up to present a final proposal on the chess project for the Sochi 2014 Winter Olympic Games.
