Turkish Rapid Championship

The Turkish Rapid Championship took place in Datca from 19 till 21 of August 2011. It consisted of Open and U-16 tournaments with the prize fund of 6000 TL (approximately 2400 Euro). 74 players took part in the U-16 event and 51 players in the Open tournament.

CM Cankut Emiroglu convincingly won the U16 section with a perfect 7/7 score!

International Masters Suat Soylu and Burak Firat shared the first place in the Open section with 5.5 points each (from seven games). Noble takes the trophy on better Buchholz. News and photos by Anastasya Karlovich
