The 2014 U.S. Chess Championships for men will take place from 7th to 20th May, 2014 at the Chess Club and Scholastic Center of Saint Louis (CCSCSL).
The event will be a 12 player round robin. Top seed GM Gata Kamsky (2713) will defend his title. The other contenders are: GM Timur Gareev (2653), GM Alenxander Onischuk (2668), GM Varuzhan Akobian (2643), GM Sergey Erenburg (2633), GM Ray Robson (2631), GM Samuel Sankland (2634), GM Alejando Ramirez (2595), GM Aleksandr Lenderman (2582), GM Mackenzie Molner (2522), GM Daniel Naroditsky (2543) and GM Joshua Friedel (2505).
