Vincent Keymer is the winner in Grenke Chess Open 2018

GRENKE Chess Open
13-year old Vincent Keymer, coached by Peter Leko, beat Richard Rapport in the last round and sensationally wins the Grenke Chess Open with 8.0 points from nine games. The German junior hope was No. 100 in the starting list and left more than 50 Grandmasters behind. With this win Keymer qualified for the Grenke Chess Classic 2019.

3 players have finished with 7,5 points-GM Anton Korobov, GM Dmitry Gordievsky and GM Alexei Shirov.
