WFCC: Match Serbia – World

The 59th World Congress of Chess Composition (WCCC) and 40th World Chess Solving Championship are taking place from 30th July to 6th August at Hotel Metropol in Belgrade, Serbia.

The Congress and Championship are organized by the World Federation for Chess Composition (WFCC) and Serbian Chess Problem Society.

As one of the promotional events, the rapid match between the teams “World” and “Serbia” is taking place tonight.

The team “World” consists of strong Grandmasters who are also participating in the Solving Championship: Piorun Kacper, Aleksander Mista, Bojan Vuckovic and John Nunn (captain)

The team “Serbia” consists of the members of the national team and women’s national team captain: Ivan Ivanisevic, Robert Markus, Milos Perunovic and Branko Damljanovic.

The time control is 25 min + 10 sec, and the games can be followed live on Serbian Chess Federation website.
