WGM Dina Belenkaya: “First days at the Olympiad were difficult”

WGM Dina Belenkaya plays the second board for Israel Women’s team in the Women’s Chess Olympiad 2022 in Chennai. Dina won her game playing against WGM Hanna Marie Klek who made a crucial mistake in the 25th move and Belenkaya didn’t let go. Speaking about her first Chess Olympiad experience as a player, Dina said it’s a unique experience and that it is even more special since the Olympiad is taking place in an unusual country for European people – India. “First days were difficult. I was trying to acclimate, temperature, food… But right now things are going more and more smooth” added Dina. See the complete interview below
