WGM Rout Padmini stormed through the tournament and finished 2 (!) points ahead of the nearest contenders

The 41st Indian Individual Women Premier Chess Championship 2014 was held from 25th October to 5th November 2014 in Sangli, a city in the state of Maharashtra, in western India.

The event was a round-robin tournament in eleven rounds.

WGM Rout Padmini (2331) won convincingly with 9,5/11 points, leaving the nearest followers full two points behind.

IM Nisha Mohota (2271) and WGM Mary Ann Gomes (2355) shared second place on 7,5 points, but Mohota prevailed on a better tie-break score and took the silver. You can see the full standings below and replay the games with engine analysis.
