The El Retiro Park in Madrid yesterday attracted the world’s top chess players, streamers, and many chess enthusiasts. World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen, World No 9 Anish Giri, and the best female chess player of all times Judit Polgar played chess against the visitors, but also enjoyed blitz games against each other.
“I started my career in the park,” said Judit Polgar, and then defeated Magnus Carlsen after only 19 moves of play! “What kind of move is this?!” asked Judit Polgar before Magnus blundered a beautiful Sicilian trick and lost his queen.
