The FIDE World Senior Team Chess Championship is taking place from 12th to 22nd July, 2014, in Vilnius, the capital of Lithuania and second biggest city in the Baltic states.

The event is a nine round Swiss tournament, split into two Sections (Open tournament for teams with players 50+ and Open tournament for teams with players 65+) with prize fund in the amount of 7.000 €.
