The 15th International Open Tournament Foment Martinenc will be played from April 20th to June 15th only on Saturdays. in Barcelona, Spain.
It is a 9-round Swiss open with a time control of 90 minutes plus 30 seconds increments from move 1. There will be two groups in the event.
Group A: Open for all players and FIDE rated.
Group B: For players with a Catalan rating lower than 2000. Valid only for the FCE ratings.
This open will count with a commentator on every round for the spectators to enjoy the tournament on-site.
Catalan champion Miguel Munoz Pantoja is the first seed of the main group.
