Malakhit and SPb Chess Fed used their strongest rosters in their crucial match. However, both teams also decided to play it safely, given the fact that a mistake in this 7-round Swiss would be crucial. The result was a completely drawn result.

Yugra took this chance to catch with both leaders thanks to a 3.5-2.5 victory over the SHSM “Nashe Nasledie” Moskow. The key game came on the third board, where Ukrainian champion Anton Korobov  defeated Vietnamese star Le Quang Liem.

SPb Chess Fed will face Yugra tomorrow, while Malakhit will play against Kazan.
