Zadar Open 2014 is taking place on 14-20th December 2014 at the Falkensteiner Hotels & Resorts Borik, in Zadar, a city in Croatia, situated on the Adriatic Sea.

The event is a 9-round Swiss FIDE tournament open to all players rated over 2200.

45 players from 9 different countries are competing for the first prize of 2.200 €. Top seed is GM Evgeny Postny (Israel) 2635.
