Zhao Jun convincing in Hastings Masters

The 90th Hastings International Chess Congress took place from 29th December 2014 to 6th January 2015 in Hastings, England. The main event was the 9-round Hastings Masters with 106 participants.

Chinese Grandmaster Zhao Jun convincingly won the trophy and £2000 top prize by scoring 8,0/9 points and leaving the nearest followers a full point behind. Zhao Jun had a TPR of 2852 and earned 26 elo points.

GM Aleksander Mista (Poland), GM Alexandr Fier (Brazil) and IM Gudmundur Kjartansson (Iceland) finished on 7,0 points each. Tereza Olsarova (Czech Republic) scored a WGM norm. Full standings below.
