The European Youth Chess Championship in Fermo, Italy, concluded today. It was one of the most disputed youth chess events in history, with medalists being unknown until the last moment. Many favorites got defeated on the way, many untitled players climbed to the top of youth chess, and hundreds of interesting chess games were played in the biggest European chess youth event for the year.
