20th Delhi International Open postponed

The 20th edition of the Delhi International Open has been postponed due to the spread of Covid19 virus in India. The event will likely be conducted in March 2023 instead of the initially announced dates in January 2023.

Considering the advisory of Indian Medical Association as well as suggestion from local administration for having social distancing and avoid gathering due to present circumstances of Covid situation, Delhi Chess Association regret to inform you that the 20th edition of Delhi International Open-2023 which is scheduled from 17-24 January 2023 has been postponed due to force majeure situation and likely to be conducted in the month of March 2023. Players who have already paid the entry fee can take a refund (please write to delhichessfestival@gmail.com) or keep the amount in DCA shell as entry fee as and when the event is announced with fresh dates“, reads the official statement.
