2nd Schoenenwerd Open in Switzerland

The 2nd Schoenenwerd Weekend CHessOpen is set to take place from 10th to 12th February at the Hotel Storchen, Oltnerstrasse 16, CH-5012 Schönenwerd, Switzerland.

The tournament will be played over 5 rounds of Swiss pairings with the time control of 100 min + 30 sec increment for the whole game.

The prizes will be distributed as follows: CHF 1200,00; 1000,00; 800,00; 600,00; 500,00; 400,00; 300,00; 250,00; 200,00; 150,00; <2000 ELO: CHF 200,00 Besides the top seeded Grandmasters Evgeny Romanov and Vladimir Sergeev, there is also a group of strong Brazilian players led by GM Krikor Sevag Mekhitarian.

The 1st Schoenenwerd Open was held in October 2011.
