5th KIIT International Chess Festival

The 5th KIIT International Chess Festival will take place on 20-27th May at the KIIT International School, Patia, Bhubaneswar, Odisha, India.

The Festival is organized by the All Odisha Chess Association, KIIT University, AICF and Odisha Mining Corporation.

The Elite Category is reserved for players rated 2200 FIDE and higher. The tournament will be conducted as per FIDE Laws of Chess and FIDE Swiss System with 10 rounds. Time Control is 90 Minutes plus 30 seconds increment from move 1.

Please note that a Tax @ 20.6% (as per Indian income tax regulations) will be deducted from the prize money to be awarded to Foreign Players.

All participants will be provided free food & triple sharing accommodation except local players at the venue.

Persons interested for hotel accommodation will have to pay 1,500/- per day for double room in Hotel Empires, Sahidnagar, Bhubaneswar, www.empireshotel.com. Organisers will take care of conveyance to & from venue.

The Platinum Category is reserved for players rated U2200 FIDE. The Premium Category is reserved for players rated U1800 FIDE.
