Alexandra Kosteniuk: I am almost certain I had a losing position

FIDE Women’s Grand Prix Astana 2022 kicked off today in Kazakhstan. The first round finished with two decisive games with Aleksandra Goryachkina and Elisabeth Paehtz taking the early lead in the event.

Alexandra Kosteniuk and Alina Kashlinskaya played the longest game of the first round. Kashlinskaya had a slightly better position with good winning chances and Kosteniuk explained in the post-game interview that she is almost certain the game was winning for her opponent. See the interview below
