The FTX Road to Miami reached its elimination day yesterday and the field was cut in half. The event continues today with the knock-out phase and one of the quarter-final matches features the encounter between World No 9 Anish Giri and World No 15 Jan-Krzysztof Duda.

- GM Wei Yi vs GM Samuel Sevian
- GM Jefferey Xiong vs GM Richard Rapport
- GM Arjun Erigaisi vs GM Levon Aronian
The 4-game matches start at 18:00 CEST and the time control is: 15 minutes + 10 seconds increment. If a tiebreak is required the players will play two 5+3 games and if needed, a single Armageddon game.
