Cristina-Adela Foisor takes the Mediterranean Flower

The 14th International Chess Festival Mediterranean Flower was held from 2nd to 8th March at the Chess Club Rijeka in Rijeka, Croatia.

The 10-players round robin event is organized by the Chess Club Draga.

Romanian champion IM Cristina-Adela Foisor convincingly won the competition with 8,0 points, leaving the Bulgarian Grandmasters Iva Videnova and Adriana Nikolova a full point behind.
