European School Chess Championship 2023

European School Chess Championship 2023 kicked off today in Durres, Albania with more than 200 players from 25 European federations.
The Opening ceremony of the event was held shortly before the start of the first round with the attendance of the ECU President Mr. Zurab Azmaiparashvili, the President of the Albanian Chess Federation and ECU Chief Executive Officer Mr. Erald Dervishi, the Honorary President of the Albanian Chess Federation Mr. Eduard Shalsi, Secretary General of the Albanian Chess Federation Ms. Majlinda Pilinci, and the former Women’s World Chess Champion Mrs. Antoaneta Stefanova.

The tournament is separated in 12 categories : U17 / U15 / U13 / U11 / U9 / U7 / Girls U17 / Girls U15 / Girls U13 / Girls U11 / Girls U9 / Girls U7
