The First Venezuelan Presidential Cup is taking place on 6-12th November 2014 at the 5-Star Hotel Tamanaco Intercontinental***** in Venezuelan capital Caracas.

The event is a 10-player round-robin tournament, valid for GM and IM norms. The tempo of play is 90′ + 30″.

Top seed is the Russian GM Aleksandr Rakhmanov (2636).
