GM Martyn Kravtsiv claims the title at the Lviv Rapid Chess Championship 2024

The Open Charity Chess Tournament Lviv Rapid Championship 2024, an event to help enlisted Lviv State University teachers and promote the Rapid game mode in the country, has concluded with the victory of Martyn Kravtsiv. He managed to score the impressive 9 wins and 1 tie for a total of 9.5 points in 10 games. Maksym Dubnevych also achieved the same amount of points, but had inferior tiebreakers and placed second. Third place went to Dmytro Biletskyy with 7 points. The top performing woman in the competition was Alina Baluh, who placed 8th with 5.5 points.
