GM Mikheil Kekelidze Wins Bradley Open

The 18th Annual Bradley Open was held from July 19-21, 2013, at the Sheraton Hotel, 1 Bradley Airport (visible at airport entrance), Windsor Locks, Connecticut.

The event was played in 5 sections: Open, Under 2110, Under 1810, Under 1510 and Under 1210. All sections were played over five rounds of Swiss system.

GM Mikheil Kekelidze took a clear first place with 4,5/5 points in the Open section. Last year winner GM Alexander Ivanov finished second with 4,0/5 points.

1. GM Mikheil Kekelidze 2618 NY – 4.5
2. GM Alexander Ivanov 2622 MA – 4.0
3. Deepak Aaron 2364 NY – 3.5
4-9. Nelson Castaneda 2336 CT, WGM Firuza Velikhanli 2289 NY, Gabriel N Petesch 2287 PA, Aravind Kumar 2164 NJ, Norman Burtness 1947 CT and Brian Tarhon 1923 EN – 3.0 etc

The prize fund was $8,000.
