The traditional First Saturday International Chess Festival was organized by IO Laszlo Nagy from November 7 through November 17, 2015, in Budapest, the capital city of Hungary.
The highlight of the event was a 10-player single round-robin GM tournament, with an average Elo rating of 2413.
IM Mate Bagi from Hungary and Spaniard GM Salvador Del Rio De Angelis tied for the first place with 6.5/9 points and left the nearest follower, IM Andrea Stella from Italy, a full point behind.
The 15-year-old Bulgarian talent Martin Petrov scored 5 points to fulfill an IM norm.
A parallel IM Tournament was organized according to the same 10-player round-robin format. IM Minh To Nhat from Hungary and IM Dimitar Marholev from Bulgaria shared the first place at 6.5 points.
