The Indian Championship is taking place from 16–26 August 2023 in Pune, India. Players receive 90 minutes for the entire game, plus a 30-second increment starting from move one. It is an 11-round Swiss tournament with participation of S.P. Sethuraman, Vignesh N R, Deep Sengupta, Guha Mitrabha, Neelash Saha, Abhimanyu Puranik, etc.
