Magnus Carlsen at the World Series of Poker 2022 Main event #TweetOftheDay

While the chess world impatiently expects reigning World Chess Champion Magnus Carlsen to decide whether he’ll defend his World Champion title in the 2023 World Chess Championship Match, the chess king competes in the World Series of Poker 2022 Main event in Las Vegas. In the competition of 1800 players, Magnus didn’t manage to survive Day 1C.

Earlier this year, Magnus Carlsen tried himself in the major Norwegian poker event – Norges-Mesterskapet. The event took place in Dublin and Magnus finished on 25th position out of 1500 players. The Canadian professional poker player, Daniel Negreanu, who has won six World Series of Poker (WSOP) bracelets and two World Poker Tour (WPT) championship titles analyzed Carlsen’s poker game and explained in details how he bluffed the opponent.
